I'm Zishawn Qureshi. However, most people call me Z. I'm a freshman at High Point University and currently majoring in International Business with a focus in Spanish language. Outside of classes I dedicate most my time to playing cricket or traveling the world. I have been to almost 20 countries in my travels and love the diversity in this world. Therefore, I decided to combine the travel aspect with business and major in International Business. I have always been told to do something you love for a job and I hope the international aspect will do just that.

2012
Travel Beginnings
Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Malta,
and the Vatican City.
This was the beginning of my love for traveling and the first of my travel memories. I knew I had traveled in the past but with no recollection of my trips prior. This was the start of something special!
2013
Great Distances
Turks & Caicos, and Pakistan
These were two completely different trips. However, each led to wonderful memories. It was quite shocking to see how people live in Pakistan. Though it was amazing to see how they live in such happiness from day to day. Whereas, Turks & Caicos is a popular tourist destination with wonderful beaches.
2014
Year of Winters
Brazil, and Russia
This particular year I got to experience two winters. The calm and breezy winter of Brazil, then the inhumane and below freezing winter of Russia. Since Brazil's winter is during Russia's summer and vice versa. This led to a year of great coldness. That ended with a new year celebration and a speech by Vladimir Putin himself in Moscow.
2015
A Journey for the Wise
England, and Oxford University
This was an opportunity that arose through my high school. It was an opportunity that I could not reject. I got to travel, study history with wonderful Rhodes Scholars, and learn about another culture! It was the ultimate package for me and helped me create friendships that'll last a lifetime.
2016
Uncertainties
St. Kitts
This was a big year for me. I was to begin my first semester at HPU and everything else was put on hold. That even means my cricket career. I wasn't sure if I'd play in a serious manner ever again. However, that changed after summer experience. When I was given the opportunity to train with the Guyana Amazon Warriors. This turned an uncertainty into a professional career!
2017-Future
Journey of the unknown
Europe? Caribbean?
As I'm writing this I'm currently planning a trip to Vienna, Prague, and possibly another European city. While I await to hear whether I will spend my summer in the Caribbean playing professional cricket. I'm hoping to play my first full pro season with Guyana after training with them last season!
